Be inspired by the unique creativity of the world-renowned floral designers of modern floristry Sarah Ryhanen (SAIPUA, USA) and Nicolette Owen (Nicolette Camille Floral Design, USA). They were among the first designers whose style is described as "wild and weedy". Erin Benzakein (Floret Flower Farm) wrote about Sarah Ryhanen a few years ago: "If you have spent even a brief moment in the world of flowers, you have surely discovered the work of Sarah Ryhanen! Not only is she an absolute force in the floral field, but she has also built the thriving floral studio SAIPUA, based in Brooklyn, New York, and educates the new generation of floral designers in her Little Flower School workshops around the world." Nicolette Owen's style emphasises grace, movement and the delicate blending of colours that evoke images of a natural garden and preserve a sense of wild spontaneity. Her Brooklyn-based (New York) design studio offers custom floral arrangements for weddings, special events and styling. Her work has been frequently featured in publications such as Martha Stewart Living, Brides, Vogue.com, The New York Times and Elle Décor. Nicolette's first book collaboration, Bringing Nature Home, was published by Rizzoli in April 2012. So start where designers such as AESME (UK) and Musa de la flores (MEX) began their journey in the world of flowers and were inspired by the experience and charisma of these two exceptional talents. The demonstrations, talks and exchange of experiences will be in English and German.
